Who I Am

I'm Marc Pineault, a financial planner in London, Ontario. I help families, professionals, and business owners across Southwestern Ontario build clear financial plans — and then I manage their investments so those plans actually get executed.

Most people I work with have been meaning to “figure out the money stuff” for years. They're earning well, saving reasonably, but they don't have a real plan. They're not sure when they can retire, whether their investments are working, or if they're paying more tax than they need to.

That's where I come in. I build the plan AND manage the money. You get a clear picture of your financial future, a strategy for taxes and investments, and someone who keeps it all on track as your life changes.

Why I Became a Financial Planner

I got into financial planning because I saw too many smart, hardworking people making decisions about their money without a real plan. They were following generic advice from the internet, relying on a bank advisor who barely knew their name, or simply hoping things would work out.

Financial planning isn't complicated — but it does require someone who takes the time to understand your specific situation. Your tax bracket, your family goals, your business structure, your retirement timeline — these all matter. A generic approach misses the details that save (or cost) you thousands of dollars.

I have the independence to recommend what's genuinely best for my clients, rather than being limited to a single bank's product shelf. I have access to a full range of investment and insurance solutions, and I can build plans that integrate everything together.

My Approach

My philosophy is simple: I build the plan AND manage your money. Too many planners do one or the other. They'll hand you a 50-page binder and wish you luck, or they'll manage your investments without ever building a proper financial plan. I do both.

The result? You stop worrying about money and start living with confidence. You know your plan is solid, your investments are working, and someone is keeping an eye on everything.

When I build your financial plan, I'm not working from a generic template. I understand the Ontario tax system, the local real estate market, and the specific financial landscape that affects you.
